WATER IS THE SOUL OF OUR FORGES

Bienno Borgo degli Artisti 2.0 was established to promote and enhance contemporary art. At the center of activities is Casa Valiga, the “House of Artists,” in the historic heart of Bienno. Through an annual call for proposals, emerging artists are invited to develop innovative projects, collaborating with local artists and artisans. Partnerships with Academies and Universities offer artistic residencies to deserving students. The flow of national and international artists stimulates thematic workshops and experiential tourism. Activities culminate in events, exhibitions and performances that constantly enrich the village of Bienno.
